You and your Pet Friends
Hermitage Northern Virginia prides itself on being a pet friendly community. We understand that your furry, scaly or feathery friends are a part of your family and that you wish to keep them. We allow your cats, dogs – up to about 50 lbs, birds or fish to join you at our community provided that you are able to care for them in an adequate manner. We have great walking grounds for dogs. We even have arrangements with No VA Mobile pet services for vet services.
Ada Nelson and her dog Liszetta have been together since Liszetta was 4 weeks old, so it was very important to her that she could move in with her. They enjoy the happiness her presence brings to other residents and do almost everything together. When Ada eats, they eat, when she sleeps they sleep, they’re best friends forever. Liszetta is 13 or 14 years old now and enjoys short walks and lots of petting and snuggles. She is a Havanese breed of Bichon type, which is the national dog of Cuba. Being able to have her dog with her was an essential criteria for the home she chose and she is very happy to live at Hermitage NoVA with Liszetta.
